All items must be completed prior to customer delivery by an Audi technician. Audi recommends using an Audi approved battery charger to prevent excessive battery discharge during inspection. It is advised to start ODIS with the engine running to enable all 5F Test Plans in GFF and also to ensure SVM sees all control units during the SVM check vehicle configuration. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 14-27 dated March 4, 2014. The addresses and contacts stored in the Navigation >> Favorites, Navigation >> Directory, and Navigation >> Last destinations submenus disappear intermittently. Intermittently, the MMI system does not appear to remember that the user's myAudi PIN has already been entered, and it requires the user to enter the PIN again. The voice recognition system does not easily recognize commands spoken by the driver. This condition can be consistent or intermittent. Multiple voice recognition training sessions can be stored in the MMI for different users when different phones are Bluetooth-paired during each training session. If no phone is paired, the training session will be stored under a default profile. This profile will be used each time the voice recognition system is used without a phone being paired to the MMI. This TSB is informational only and not applicable to any Audi warranty.

Customer states that the reception of satellite radio occasionally fades or drops out. The information display may show a message related to the satellite radio, such as "Linking", "Updating", "Acquiring Signal", "Loading", "No Signal", or "No Sat".

DO NOT use accessories (radio, etc.) while performing detail, as this can discharge the battery. Refer to TSB 2009967 for Detailer responsibilities, specific use of chemicals, and for part numbers to order materials. Only operate power convertible top with engine running to conserve battery power (A5/S5 Cab, R8 ONLY). DO NOT allow convertible top to remain in a partially opened or partially closed position for longer than 5 minutes. This will cause the top to stop functioning and will require service (A5/S5 Cab, R8 ONLY). DO NOT treat vehicle parts painted with matte finish paint using polishing materials or hard wax. NEVER use protective wax. It can destroy the matte finish effect. Only use a microfiber cloth for cleaning (R8 ONLY).
