Service bulletins for the 2014 Audi A6

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The displayed vehicle range drops inconsistently. After the vehicle is refueled, the displayed vehicle range does not change for a long period of time. When the vehicle is driven on hilly roads for a long period of time, the displayed vehicle range suddenly changes by a significant amount. There are no DTCs related to fuel senders stored in the instrument cluster control module, J285 (address word 17). The noise can be caused by unfavorable tolerances between the instrument panel speaker and the center speaker trim. A speaker that has been incorrectly installed can make the condition worse. Because there is no attachment to the trim carrier in the speaker cut-out, this area is the likely source of the vibration.
A461526 2042646-2017-11-17. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Customer may complain about brake squeak or squeal with light moderate pedal pressure. The noise is created by the brake pad material. A new brake pad (part number 4G0698151K) with improved compound has been developed. The supplier cannot currently produce this part in high volume due to factory capacity, which is causing a delay in part availability. It is possible that installing the original brake pad (part number 4G0698151D) will reduce the noise, but doing so is not always effective.
