Service bulletins for the 2016 Audi A5
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| PDI - 2016 A5 Co | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. This document contains the Audi pre-delivery inspection checklist. All items must be completed prior to customer delivery by an Audi technician. Audi recommends using an Audi approved battery charger to prevent excessive battery discharge during inspection. ALL PDI function tests must be run in Guided Fault Finding (GFF) only. Do NOT use Guided Functions for any PDI related test as these will not be uploaded to the Paperless Server. Refer to the Special functions tab of ODIS Diagnosis for using GFF for PDI function tests. It is advised to start ODIS with the engine running to enable all 5F Test Plans in GFF and also to ensure SVM sees all control units during the SVM check vehicle configuration. For items marked with *, please refer to the PDI Technician Reference Document posted on ServiceNet for additional information. |

| A911513 2041940- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.. ?ANTENNA - A technical problem has occurred. Please contact your Audi dealer" is displayed in the driver information panel when in the SiriusXM band. Audio from the satellite radio is present. DTC 02617 (Satellite antenna) is stored in the radio (address word 56) with fault code 11 (Open circuit). Visually, the MMI and MIB antennas are the same, but each antenna draws a different amount of current. For this reason, if an MIB antenna has been installed on a vehicle with an MMI radio, it causes an open circuit DTC. The open circuit DTC will be set on an MMI radio if the current draw from the antenna falls below 60mA . A MIB antenna draws 55mA (+/- 10mA) 4G0-035-503-K. A MMI antenna draws 110mA (+/- 10mA) 4G0-035-503-J. |
