PDI - 2016 A4 TE2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. This document contains the Audi pre-delivery inspection checklist. All items must be completed prior to customer delivery by an Audi technician. Audi recommends using an Audi approved battery charger to prevent excessive battery discharge during inspection. ALL PDI function tests must be run in Guided Fault Finding (GFF) only. Do NOT use Guided Functions for any PDI related test as these will not be uploaded to the Paperless Server. Refer to the Special functions tab of ODIS Diagnosis for using GFF for PDI function tests. It is advised to start ODIS with the engine running to enable all 5F Test Plans in GFF and also to ensure SVM sees all control units during the SVM check vehicle configuration. For items marked with *, please refer to the PDI Technician Reference Document posted on ServiceNet for additional information.
Scheduled Mainte2017-11-17. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:OWNERS/SERVICE/OTHER MANUAL. This document contains the Audi maintenance schedule. First standard maintenance service at 5,000 miles or 1 year after delivery, whichever occurs first. Standard maintenance services thereafter occur at intervals of 10,000 miles or 1 year after the last standard maintenance service, whichever occurs first. First major maintenance service at 15,000 miles or 2 years after delivery, whichever occurs first. Major maintenance services thereafter occur at intervals of 20,000 miles or 2 years after the last major maintenance service, whichever occurs first. The intervals shown in this table are based on vehicles operating under normal conditions. In case of severe conditions, such as extremely low temperatures, excessive dust, etc., it is necessary for certain operations to be carried out in between the given intervals. This applies particularly to engine oil changes and the cleaning or replacing of the air cleaner filter element.

Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.
