- [13V093000](/recalls/nhtsa/13V093000.md), 2013-03-15: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Honda is recalling certain model year 2004\-2008 Acura TSX vehicles originally sold in, or currently registered in, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia. In states that use corrosive materials for deicing, driver's footwear may bring in materials that saturate the vehicle's carpeting, which is in contact with the vehicle's engine Electronic Control Unit \(ECU\). As a result, the ECU case may experience rust or corrosion. This damage may potentially cause the engine to stall. Built 2003\-02\-12 to 2004\-09\-29.
- [10V174000](/recalls/nhtsa/10V174000.md), 2010-04-29: STEERING:HYDRAULIC POWER ASSIST:HOSE, PIPING, AND CONNECTIONS. HONDA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2004 THROUGH 2008 ACURA TSX PASSENGER VEHICLES MANUFACTURED BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 25, 2002 AND FEBRUARY 13, 2008. - [04V429000](/recalls/nhtsa/04V429000.md), 2004-09-03: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TAIL LIGHTS. ON CERTAIN PASSENGER CARS, THE WIRE HARNESS LOCATED IN THE TRUNK HINGE AREA IS NOT ADEQUATELY PROTECTED AND OVER TIME COULD BE DAMAGED WHEN THE TRUNK IS OPENED AND CLOSED. Built 2003\-01\-15 to 2004\-06\-29.

## Canada (Transport Canada), as of 2026-10-19

- [2013082](/recalls/tc/2013082.md), 2013-03-14: Electrical. On certain vehicles operated in areas where road salt and de\-icing chemicals are used, if the driver enters the vehicle with a salt/snow mixture on their feet, this could melt and soak the carpet, allowing the salt\-water solution to contact the base of the Engine Control Unit \(ECU\). As a result, the ECU could suffer corrosion damage, which may cause the engine to stall. Engine stalling would result in a loss of vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install a waterproof cover over the ECU. A damaged ECU will be replaced.
- [2004324](/recalls/tc/2004324.md), 2004-09-09: Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, the wiring harness located in the trunk hinge area is not adequately protected and, over time, could be damaged when the trunk is opened and closed. A damaged harness can cause a blown fuse or an open circuit; either results in a loss of licence plate light, back up light and/or tail light function. All affected lights are on the trunk lid. The portion of the light assembly on the rear quarter panel, which includes a tail light, a brake light and a turn signal, are not affected. Correction: Dealers will inspect the rear wire harness. If any damage is found, the harness will be replaced. If no damage is found, the dealer will install corrugated plastic tubing over the harness to prevent damage.
