SOME SPECIFIC FREIGHTLINER CUSTOM CHASSIS FS-65 SCHOOL BUS CHASSIS, MB AND FB SHUTTLE BUSES AND MC RECREATIONAL VEHICLES MANUFACTURED BETWEEN 03/01/99 AND 01/13/00 EQUIPPED WITH A MERITOR-WABCO D-VERSION HYDRAULIC ABS, THE INTERNAL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM OF FIRST GENERATION MERITOR WABCO D-VERSION HYDRAULIC ABS IS NOT ABLE TO DETECT AN EXCESSIVE AIR GAP BETWEEN A WHEEL SPEED SENSOR AND TONE RING. IF THIS OCCURS, THE ABS FAULT LIGHT WILL NOT ACTIVATE AND THE ABS WILL NOT FUNCTION AT THIS WHEEL POSITION. THE MODIFICATION CONSISTS OF REMOVING AND REPLACING THE ABS ECU WITH THIRD GENERATION SOFTWARE. *TT
