Service bulletin 011008

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

THIS MAY BE CAUSED BY VARIATION IN TOOTH CONTACT BETWEEN THE DIFFERENTIAL RING GEAR, PINION, AND BY THE INABILITY OF THE ORIGINAL UPPER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS TO ISOLATE THE NOISE. REPLACE THE DRIVESHAFT WITH NEW SLIP YOKE DAMPER DRIVESHAFT AND REAR SUSPENSION UPPER CONTROL ARMS WITH NEW UPPER CONTROL ARMS MANUFACTUREDD WITH REVISED BUSHINGS. *TT
