AMERICAN LAFRANCE EAGLE AND METROPOLITAN VEHICLES BUILT FROM APRIL 16, 1999, THROUGH AUGUST 15, 2000, HAVE AN ISOLATED ALLISON TRANSMISSION ECU \(ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT\). THE CIRCUIT E\-144 WIRE IS GROUNDED AT THE LOW\-OUTBOARD ECU MOUNTING STUD. THIS MAY CAUSE TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SIGNALS. THESE SINGALS COULD CAUSE THE UNNECESSARY STORAGE OF DIAGNOSTIC FAULT CODES OR ERRATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTING. \*TT
