Service bulletin SRE0001

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

ON SOME VEHICLES, THE HIGH-PRESSURE HYDRAULIC PIPE THAT RUNS FROM THE ACE (ACTIVE CORNERING ENHANCEMENT) PUMP TO THE ACE VALVE BLOCK MAY FRACTURE AT ITS UNION WITH THE PUMP. THIS WILL RESULT IN A LOSS OF HYDRAULIC FLUID. DEPENDING ON THE SEVERITY OF THE HYDRAULIC FLUID LEAK, THE ACE WARNING LAMP IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ILLUMINATES EITHER AMBER, WITHOUT AUDIBLE WARNING, OR RED, ACCOMPANIED BY AN AUDIBLE WARNING.*TT
