(APPLIES ONLY TO CHASSIS WITHOUT FAIRINGS). IF IT SHOULD BECOME NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE RIVETS ATTACHING THE STEP END CAPS TO THE STEP PLATES ON ALUMINUM FUEL TANK STEPS, IT IS ACCEPTABLE TO USE 5/16 INCH X 3/4 INCH BOLTS, NUTS AND LOCK WASHERS.
