E36 CONVERTIBLES BUILT IN THE PERIOD 8/94 TROUGH 12/94 WHICH WERE EQUIPPED WITH OPTION PACKAGE 205 (HEATED SEATS [494] AND HEATED MIRRORS AND DOOR LOCK [314]), MAY HAVE A DOOR LOCK HEATER THAT DOES NOT WORK. THIS CAN BE DUE TO A MISSING SIGNAL WIRE FROM THE GENERAL MODULE (GM) TO CONNECTOR X257 AT THE LOWER LEFT 'A' PILLAR.
