IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE STEERING LEVERS MAY HAVE MANUFACTURING DEFICIENCIES WHICH COULD LEAD TO CRACKS DEVELOPING IN THE BODY DIAMETER TO DRAG LINK EYE RADIUS. THE PROGRESSIVE NATURE OF THESE CRACKS COULD LEAD TO UNEXPECTED STEERING LEVER FAILURE WITHOUT WARNING. TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM, DEALERS ARE TO REPLACE THE STEERING LEVER. VEHICLE MODELS INVOLVED ARE MACK MC, MR, R, RB AND RD. \*TW
