VDL Van Hool has introduced into production a new type of microswitch to detect when the lavatory compartment door is locked. When the door is locked, the microswitch activates the highspeed ventilation fan, turns on the compartment white light, and illuminates the occupied indicator. The new microswitch was introduced into production beginning with unit \#84595. This service bulletin provides you with some additional information about this product change.
