# Service bulletin B612026

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

On iX3 vehicles, PAD mode \(parking residing driving\) may automatically end after manual activation whenthe vehicle is supported by external power, even if the 12 V lithium‑ion battery \(BATT12\) shows a high stateof charge and a charger is connected. PAD cannot remain active via PAD logic or any other vehicle input;the system issues an automatic disconnect. This automatic shutdown consistently occurs under theseconditions, and in some cases the BATT12 enters or remains in deep‑discharge protection and cannot bereactivated without intervention.
