# Service bulletin TSB 26\-2092 V2

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- Type: Service bulletin
- NHTSA id: 11037678
- Published by NHTSA: 2026\-10\-01
- Manufacturer's number: TSB 26\-2092 V2

## NHTSA's summary

This article supersedes TSB 25\-2466 to add Bronco Sport, Escape, Maverick and Corsair, as well as removing Expedition and Navigator. One time use parts for Corsair and Bronco Sport were also added to the parts list. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a headliner rattle or sagging condition around the roof opening panel. This may be due to the adhesive separating from the headliner substrate.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [SSM 55118](/bulletins/11036529.md), 2026-09-01, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some of the following vehicles: \* 2023\-2025 F\-Super Duty built on or before 02\-Feb\-2025 \* 2024\-2026 Ranger/Bronco/Mustang \* 2024\-2025 F\-150 built on or before 15\-Jul\-2025 \* 2024\-2025 Nautilus built on or before 16\-Feb\-2025 \* 2025 Explorer/Aviator built on or before 01\-Feb\-2025 may exhibit all of the following symptoms: \- "No Key Detected" message displayed on the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\). \- Key fob does not work in the backup slot. \- Remote keyless entry \(RKE\) \(lock and unlock from the key fob\) functionality will work to lock/unlock the vehicle. If the vehicle exhibits these symptoms, start the vehicle using both key fobs. If the no crank/no start condition with "No Key Detected" concern is present, reprogram both key fobs and retest. If the no crank/no start condition with "No Key Detected" is still present, replace the body control module \(BCM\). Refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 419\-10. For claiming, use causal part 15604 and labor operation MT55118SSM up to 1.8 hours.
- [SSM 55093](/bulletins/11036301.md), 2026-08-20, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY; VISIBILITY/WIPER. Some 2021\-2026 F\-150 vehicles may exhibit a concern of the windshield wipers not parking in the correct position on the windshield and/or over\-traveling. This may be due to incorrect alignment of the wiper pivot arm on the wiper linkage assembly. Wiper pivot arms may or may not be equipped with an alignment key. Alignment keys are a manufacturing aid and are not needed for proper alignment and operation. In some instances, it may be necessary to remove this alignment key to achieve proper alignment. Replacement of the wiper pivot arm, due to a missing alignment key is a not warrantable. Refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 501\-16.
- [TSB 26\-2343](/bulletins/11035461.md), 2026-08-03, Service bulletin: VISIBILITY/WIPER; STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This bulletin supersedes TSB 24\-2317. Reason for the update: update the Parts list to clarify the claim quantity of the part number RZ6Z\-7840380\-A Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a rattle noise from the instrument panel near the base of the windshield while driving over rough or uneven roads. This may be due to excessive movement of the instrument panel.
- [SSM 54822](/bulletins/11032755.md), 2026-05-18, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY; ENGINE; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; POWER TRAIN. All 2026 Maverick non\-Lobo vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine and built on or after 04\-May\-2026 and all 2026 Bronco Sport vehicles built on or after 07\-May\-2026 are no longer equipped with an underbody tunnel shield \(Maverick base part number 6011434/Bronco Sport base part number 7811434\). The vehicle is not misbuilt and the installation of this part is not a warrantable repair. Do not submit a claim for this condition.

Some 2021\-2025 F\-150 vehicles may exhibit an "Active Air Dam System Fault See Manual" warning message displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) and/or an AAD hanging/not retracting. This may be due to a broken AAD actuator to air dam bolt or bolts. If diagnostics lead to ADD actuator as the causal part, a new lower\-level service bolt and u\-nut are available. It is not necessary to replace the AAD actuator if only the bolt\(s\) are damaged.

Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with wired keyless entry keypad systems and accessory wireless keyless entry keypad systems may or may not come with a wallet card containing the master code. Unlike the integrated wired keypad, the accessory wireless keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool or from the label printed on the body control module \(BCM\). The Factory Keyless Entry Code application within the diagnostic scan tool will not provide an applicable master code for the accessory wireless keypad. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is not available, the "Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide" can be referenced and provides direction on how to retrieve the master code. This guide is located under the Workshop Manual tab \> Accessories \> Installation \> Wireless RF Keypad Diagnosis Guide \> PPT C \> Step C2.\<br /\>\<br /\> Note: The only available keypad for some vehicles from the assembly plant is the accessory wireless keyless entry keypad.
