# Service bulletin 26\-BD\-009G TSB

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Some Genesis G90 \(RS4\) vehicles equipped with the power door system \(PDS\) may produce a clunking noise when the power door is manually opened or closed. This bulletin provides instructions to remove the PDS from the affected door and perform a partial replacement of the PDS spindle sub\-assembly to address the noise condition.

- 2023 to 2025 GENESIS G90

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [23\-BD\-007H](/bulletins/10235566.md), 2023-05-04, Service bulletin: STRUCTURE:BODY. Hyundai applies a Paint Protection Film \(PPF\) on new vehicles before delivery to dealerships. It provides a barrier between the paint and contaminants, such as rail dust, acid rain, and industrial fallout. In rare cases, the paint can become clouded under the PPF. These spots are the result of moisture trapped between the PPF and the paint.
