## NHTSA's summary

Altec Industries, Inc. has received notification from Ford Motor Company that certain 2017\-2025 F\-450 – F\-600 Chassis Cab upfitted with an Aerial Bucket Second Unit Body \(SUB\) could have a condition related to the operation or customer satisfaction of the unit when equipped with an Altec aerial device. If the vehicle is upfitted with an Aerial Bucket Second Unit Body \(SUB\), the SUB may cause stress on the frame rail during use, which might lead to cracks in the frame rail.
