- [SA\-041\-26a](/bulletins/11037899.md), 2026-10-03, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. DESCRIPTION If you encounter any type of electrical concern \(e.g, dead battery, engine no start, DTC\(s\) stored...\), interview the customer before proceeding with normal MGSS diagnosis by asking if any aftermarket devices have been installed. Aftermarket devices may be the cause of the electrical concern. Below are a few examples of unusual electrical concerns caused by aftermarket devices. Examples: 1. Devices connected to the DLC\-2 \(battery discharge/DTC stored\) 2. Devices plugged into the 12V outlet 3. GPS tracking device \(engine no start/battery discharge\) 4. Dash cam \(DTC stored\) 5. Non\-certified USB cable \(Apple Carplay™/ Android Auto™ will not connect\) 6. Over\-sized wheels/tires \(incorrect GPS location\) 7. DTC C0023:14 8. - [SSPE2 Owner Ltr](/bulletins/11037897.md), 2026-10-03, Over\-the\-air update: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Subject: Announcement of Special Service Program \(SSPE2\) Ethernet Communication – Over The Air \(OTA\) Update Concerns and Manufacturer Service Program \(MSP67 \) – Battery Depletion \- 2026MY CX\-5 vehicles URGENT \- STOP DELIVERY OF AFFECTED VEHICLES: MAZDA SALES AND SERVICE TEAMS \- ACTION ITEM: Between both campaigns there are approximately 27,565 vehicles \(for both campaigns\) in stock at U.S. Mazda dealers. All Mazda dealers must quarantine any affected New, Used or Certified Pre\-Owned in\-stock vehicles until the repair is completed. The affected dealer inventory list will be available to each District Service Manager with the notification of this dealer email. Once completed, the vehicle can be delivered, and the Warranty claim can be submitted later without penalty since the vehicle has been repaired. Mazda Motor Corporation has decided to conduct two service programs Special Service Program \(SSP\) and Manufacturer Service Program \(MSP\) on certain 2026MY CX \-5 vehicles sold in the U.S. and U.S. Territories. Vehicles also produced by Mazda Motor de Mexico \(MMdM\) and Mazda Canada Inc. \(MCI\) are affected and should be repaired if presented to your dealership. Please see the description, model, model year, and VIN ranges below for all vehicles in these two campaigns. There are 70,225 vehicles affected by SSPE2 and 53,653 vehicles affected by MSP67. All vehicles in MSP67 are also affected by campaign SSPE2. Please read this complete letter for all the repair information . Special Service Program SSPE2 – Ethernet Communication and OTA Update Concerns \- SSPE2 addresses two concerns: 1\) Ethernet communication \(CDC \-DCM communication\) concern: Communication in the Cockpit Domain Controller \(CDC\) and Data Communication Module \(DCM\), may be interrupted, making the connected services unavailable. The interruption may cause the master warning light to illuminate and audible warning from the emergency call speaker. 2\) OTA software update concern: Due to an improper communication control program in the CDC and DCM, may prevent OTA software updates to be completed. In addition, if an OTA software update is successfully completed, the vehicle's software configuration status may not be correctly transmitted to the server, which may prevent notification of subsequent software update successfully completed OTA software updates may not properly sync with Mazda’s servers potentially preventing future OTA updates. Repair Outline: Reprogram the DCM and CDC software, using a USB memory stick with modified software. Manufacturer Service Program MSP67 \- Battery Depletion Concern \- MSP67 addresses two concerns: On certain subject CX\-5 vehicles, the vehicle may fail to start due to battery depletion after IG OFF. 1\) Data Communication Module \(DCM\): Remote Diagnostics software may reset and fail to close a CAN communication channel after ignition OFF and the battery may drain over time. Note: Vehicles for Puerto Rico and Mexico markets are not affected by this factor as they are not equipped with the DCM. 2\) Body Control Module \(BCM\): The Body Control Module \(BCM\) may intermittently reset during sleep mode operation. Vehicles may cycle between wake\-up and sleep states, leading to battery depletion. Repair Outline: Reprogram the BCM software with M\-MDS, using Mazda Diagnostic and Repair Software II \(MDARS II\). The DCM software is being re\-programed by SSPE2. Note: When the BCM is reprogrammed, the Central Gateway \(CGW\) will also be updated automatically.
- [DRW59 Warr a](/bulletins/11037895.md), 2026-10-03, Service campaign: ENGINE. Subject: Notification of Dealer Re\-Work \(DRW59\) – 2026MY CX\-30 and 2026MY Mazda3 \- Check Engine Light On With DTC P0126:00 Dear Mazda Dealer Colleagues, Mazda Motor Corporation has decided to conduct a Dealer Re\-Work on certain 2026MY CX\-30 and Mazda3 vehicles. Concern Outline: On certain subject vehicles, the check engine light may illuminate with DTC P0126:00 \(Thermostat stuck open\) stored due to improper PCM control logic. Repair Outline: Reprogram the PCM with the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System \(M\-MDS\), using Mazda Diagnostic and Repair Software \(MDARS\) by following TSB 01\-006/26 repair instructions. ACTION ITEM \- STOP DELIVERY: All affected vehicles in inventory can be sold but not delivered until repaired. There are approximately 17,942 new vehicles in dealer stock and/or in transit to dealers. All affected dealer inventory types with this DRW must be repaired prior to delivery. The number of affected units at your dealership can be seen in Inventory \& Sales 2.0 in eMDCS and a VIN list \(via an internal MNAO campaign reporting\) will also be provided to your District Service Manager by 5pm \(Pacific Time\) on the date this dealer email is sent. Owner Notification: There is no Owner Notification with this or any Dealer Re\-Work. PARTS INFORMATION: There are no parts required for this repair.
- [SA\-061\-26](/bulletins/11037637.md), 2026-10-01, Service bulletin: ENGINE; POWER TRAIN. DESCRIPTION Use this guide before ordering or replacing an AT component on applicable H3T vehicles. QUICK CHECKLIST BEFORE ORDERING Confirm the vehicle is a CX\-90 \(KK\) or CX\-70 \(KJ\) with H3T and is within the applicable market coverage. • In GEPC, identify the AT component part number for the vehicle. • Use the GEPC lookup tables below to determine whether the vehicle requires Table A or Table B parts. • Order the complete set of parts listed in the applicable table. DO NOT order the AT component by itself. • Check whether water hose removal is required for that GEPC part number. • Follow the applicable WSM repair procedure for AT component removal/installation, water hose removal, and oil hose/oil pipe installation in MGSS. • IMPORTANT: If only the AT component is ordered, required replacement parts will be missing, and the repair cannot be completed.
