## NHTSA's summary

The Battery Energy Control Module \(BECM\) in certain vehicles include battery\-monitoring software. An update is available for this software that improves the BECM’s ability to detect moisture inside the RESS enclosure. Dealers are to reprogram the BECM with the updated software.
