## NHTSA's summary

Certain Maserati vehicles listed in MODISCS\+ are involved in a Rapid Update to install a heat shield on the ELSD connector \(Electronic Limited Slip Differential\). On some vehicles, the heat shield for the ELSD connector \(Electronic Limited Slip Differential\) may not have been installed during production. If the heat shield is missing, elevated temperatures in the surrounding area may cause component malfunction.
