# Service bulletin PIP6122B

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

This information addresses a potential software anomaly that may cause a MIL illumination, a Service High Voltage message on the IPC, and, when the DTC is current, a no\-start condition while the vehicle is in Run/Propulsion mode. If one or more of the listed DTCs are stored in history, technicians are to perform SPS2 Hybrid/EV Battery Data Retrieval per Bulletin 25\-NA\-044, create a TAC case referencing the applicable P.I. number, and include the WCC obtained from the SPS data retrieval. TAC will provide further direction after engineering reviews the vehicle\-specific data. This information applies only to the listed DTCs and symptom bytes and does not apply if the codes or symptom bytes differ.
