## NHTSA's summary

Complaint Water ingress in the load compartment between the C and D pillars. Cause In the area of the rounding at the D\-pillar, a leakage may occur between the rear side wall and the roof paneling. Remedy Troubleshooting: Locate the area of the leak by performing a pressure test and using leak detector spray or soapy water. To do this, tape up the rear vents on the D\-pillars and set the ventilation system to the maximum blower setting. If leaks are verified, proceed with sealing of the drip rail: 1. Remove the corner seal strip of the drip rail \(see AR88.80\-P\-4005XG\). 2. Clean and apply primer to the marked areas \(see figure 1\). 3. Replace the corner seal strip and fill with sealant, then mount it straight onto the flange. 4. Remove any excess adhesive and Install outer drip rail. Apply adhesive to inside corner. 5. After installing the drip rails, perform a water test \(approx. 0.5 hours\).
