Service Data - Bendix® Standalone Electronic Air Control (SA-EAC) System The Standalone Electronic Air Control (SA-EAC) system is a set of hardware and software components required for electronic control of the governor on a Bendix AD-HFi® Intelligent Air Dryer. The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) contains a set of software functions which control the solenoid governor, which in turn controls the loaded state of the air compressor and the purge cycle of the AD-HFi dryer cartridge. The SA-EAC system adds features supporting the AD-HFi air dryer including J1939 messaging, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), advanced functionality, and governor control.
