# Over\-the\-air update SYNC\-26.2.7.6 Bronco

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

- [SSM 54949](/bulletins/11034037.md), 2026-06-24, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY/WIPER. Some 2024\-2026 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a condition where short drop windows, window bounce\-back, and/or one\-touch open/close does not operate properly. This may be due to loss of window initialization. Replacement or reprogramming of the DDM, PDM, and/or any other components may not resolve these conditions. The short drop windows feature may be restored by performing a reset procedure as described in the Digital Owner's Manual \> Windows \> Using Short Drop Windows \> Resetting Short Drop Windows. If the customer is experiencing an inability to fully close the window due to repeated bounce\-back events, the window bounce\-back feature may be overridden by performing an override procedure as described in the Digital Owner's Manual \> Windows \> Window Bounce\-Back \> Overriding Windows Bounce\-Back. The one\-touch open/close feature may be restored by performing a reset procedure as described in the Digital Owner's Manual \> Windows \> Opening and Closing the Windows \> Resetting Window One\-Touch. These symptoms may return after a successful reset/override
- [SSM 54665](/bulletins/11030109.md), 2026-03-18, Service bulletin: VISIBILITY/WIPER; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2026 F\-150/Bronco/Ranger/Mustang Mach\-E vehicles may exhibit a blank center display screen after deactivating transport mode. To correct the condition, cycle the ignition from On/Ready to Off. Open, close and lock the door and let the vehicle sit for a minimum of 5 minutes. Reprogramming or replacement of any modules will not correct the condition. If the concern continues, refer to Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 415\-00 Information and Entertainment System for normal diagnostics.
