## NHTSA's summary

Flash: Battery Pack Control Module \(BPCM\) Updates Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) illumination. Upon further investigation SYMPTOM: the technician must find the following Diagnostic Trouble Code \(DTC\) has been set: ● P0A0A\-00 \- High Voltage System Interlock Circuit. IMPORTANT\! ○ \*\*This DTC must be Stored in the BPCM. ○ If the DTC is Active, this TSB does not apply. Perform normal diagnostics.\*\* Customers \*\*must\*\* also comment on the following: ● The vehicle will not start, both propulsion systems \(gas and electric\), are inoperable. NOTE: \*\*The 12 volt system is still operable however after some time, the vehicle will allow propulsion again with MIL on and DTC P0A0A\-00 Stored.\*\* This bulletin involves reprogramming the BPCM with the latest available software.
