# Other 25N17

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [SSM 54720](/bulletins/11031263.md), 2026-04-10, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION. Various 2020\-2026 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with blind spot information system \(BLIS\) may experience an inoperative blind spot monitoring with a "Blind Spot System Fault" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\). This may also be accompanied by diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) B118C:11 and/or B118C:15 stored in the driver door module \(DDM\), and/or B118D:11 and/or B118D:15 stored in the passenger door module \(PDM\). This may be due to the wiring connector from the mirror to the BLIS module. If diagnostics lead to an internal mirror wiring harness fault, a new lower level BLIS light pigtail is now released for service. It is not necessary to replace the exterior mirror assembly. Use part number SC3Z\-14A411\-B to resolve the concern.
- [SSM 54313](/bulletins/11024526.md), 2025-10-28, Service bulletin: LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2020\-2025 various Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with blind spot information system \(BLIS\) may experience an inoperative blind spot monitoring with a "Blind Spot System Fault" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\). - [SSM 53894](/bulletins/11019652.md), 2025-06-19, Service bulletin: UNKNOWN OR OTHER; VISIBILITY/WIPER; BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING. Some 2022\-2025 Transit vehicles equipped with a 360 degree camera may exhibit one camera display inoperative with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) B12BE:31, B148E:31, B12BF:31 and B115E:31 stored in the image processing module B \(IPMB\). These DTCs will set when only one camera has the condition. Replacement and/or reprogramming of the IPMB will not resolve this condition. To properly identify which camera/circuit has the condition and requires repair, visually confirm which camera display is inoperative \(grayed out/blank/blue\). If the condition is intermittent, interview the customer to find out more details and/or review the DTCs stored in the IPMB. The DTC with a status byte of 2F \(example: B12BF:31:2F\) indicates which camera/circuit has the condition. Repair as necessary. Refer to the Workshop Manual \(WSM\), Section 413\-13C.
- [TSB 24\-2107](/bulletins/10253892.md), 2024-05-02, Service bulletin: BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE. Some 2022\-2024 Bronco Raptor vehicles may exhibit an intermittent no crank/no start/discharged battery due to the presence of a parasitic battery drain. This may be due to the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) software.
- [SSM 52390](/bulletins/10252648.md), 2024-04-04, Service bulletin: EQUIPMENT; BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA. Some 2023\-2024 Explorer vehicles built on or after 31\-Jul\-2023 \(minor feature code J3KAJ which can be confirmed by double\-clicking the VIN on PTS in the upper left corner\) are no longer equipped with the 360 degree view camera or reverse brake assist features. Vehicles affected are equipped with only rear functioning cameras. The vehicle is not misbuilt. Do not submit a claim for this condition. Affected vehicles of this change can be verified by entering a vehicle identification number \(VIN\) on Professional Technician System \(PTS\) to check for a 360\-degree camera credit on the window sticker. Diagnosis and repair for any parking aid concerns on these vehicles should follow Workshop Manual \(WSM\) Section 413\-13B for Rear Parking Aid Camera System only. Do not use the 360 degree view camera or reverse brake assist diagnostics or repair procedures.

- [TSB 24\-2051](/bulletins/10251471.md), 2024-03-07, Service bulletin: BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2022 Transit vehicles may experience at least one of the following symptoms: auto start\-stop button no longer available after an over\-the\-air \(OTA\) update, reverse camera screen stayed on vehicle's center display screen when vehicle was in drive, charge status indicator not working, connected vehicle features do not open in the vehicle's center display screen. This may be due to the software in the SYNC module \(APIM\). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the APIM. NOTE: The APIM software update that addresses the symptom listed in this article may have been sent via Ford Power\-Up software updates delivered over\-the\-air \(OTA\) to connected vehicles that have automatic updates enabled through the vehicle's center display screen. Enter the vehicle identification number \(VIN\) in Professional Technician System \(PTS\) and check the OTA Dashboard under the Connected Vehicle tab for OTA update history. If an update to the APIM has successfully completed recently and the customer is reporting the symptoms are no longer present, this article may not apply.
