# Service bulletin 9100768

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

If the Power Liftgate \(PLG\) does not operate following battery drainage or when DTCs B2199\-16 or B21DD\-16 are active, perform the following steps: 1. Verify Battery Voltage: Ensure battery voltage is at nominal value \(minimum 12.5 V\). Charge the battery, if necessary before proceeding. 2. Confirm Low Voltage DTCs: After charging, verify that any low battery voltage DTCs are stored. 3. Check PLGM Proxi Alignment: 4. If PLGM is not aligned: \- Perform Proxi Alignment \- Reset the module \- Perform module recalibration. 5. If Proxi Is Correct: \- Reset the module. \- Perform module calibration. 6. Diagnose Active DTCs 7. Inspect wiring and related components associated with those DTCs. Repair as necessary and clear DTCs. 8. Module Replacement: If the module does not accept Proxi alignment, Module reset, or Calibration.
