Service bulletin SB_498.6

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

TCU Module software patch was created to prevent and resolve the following failure modes: • Prognostics Not Resetting or not Staying Reset after a battery cycle. • Cannot Access PierceCZ.com (HTTP ERROR 500) The procedure below outlines what part/s are needed to resolve the issue.

The document

• NHTSA's copy of the document (PDF)
• If that address does not open, try this one

The document is the manufacturer's. This site does not hold it. NHTSA files a document at one of these two addresses; we have not asked NHTSA which.

Listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned: the document says which.
