## NHTSA's summary

Mercedes\-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes\-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain subject vehicles, the drivetrain control unit software does not correspond to the series production configuration. Vehicles with incorrect software might not meet emission or OBD certification requirements. Moreover, potential influence on the exhaust emissions cannot be ruled out. MBUSA will conduct an emission service campaign. An authorized Mercedes\-Benz dealer will update the engine control unit software on the affected vehicle.
