# Service bulletin B612325

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

The malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) is triggered and 0318E2 AC charging, charging electronics 1,component protection: Overload current on AC side fault may be stored during AC charging Level 1\(120 VAC\). Note: Despite the fault memory entry \(and the malfunction indicator lamp\), the AC charging process willcontinue operating as designed and there is no related drivability complaint. Affected PHEV \(plug\-in hybrid electric vehicle\) vehicles with CCU\-03 \(7.4 kW combined charging unit\).

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [B611826](/bulletins/11037531.md), 2026-09-28, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Due to unfavorable software, the Storage Management Electronics \(SME\) will not show fault codes that trigger the Malfunction Indicator Lamp \(MIL\) when performing ISTA Service Function "Display Permanent SAE Fault Codes." As a result, workshops will have to identify SME\-specific permanent SAE \(emission related\) Diagnostic Trouble Codes \(DTCs\) stored in the vehicle during diagnosis or when preparing a vehicle for a State Emission Inspection and Maintenance through a workaround procedure.
- [B630526](/bulletins/11036381.md), 2026-08-27, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. After programming the vehicle via ISTA/RSUto I\-level …26\-03\-5xx, some of the interiorambient lighting strips \(arrows\) may begin tofail sporadically after a deep sleep cycle.
- [B651426](/bulletins/11034467.md), 2026-07-03, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The vehicle may experience various operational issues with Apple CarPlay Projected Modes such as: Dropped connections No automatic reconnection Display errors
- [B610126](/bulletins/11034462.md), 2026-07-03, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. During vehicle start\-up the Secure Element \(SE\) of the BCP may fail causing communication errors. TheCheck Control message “Drive carefully. Driving stabilisation.” will appear. In addition, the fault memoryentries below will be stored within 40 seconds of each other. ACSM: 02010A \- Coding: Coding data not qualified VIP: 02390A \- VIP control unit: Coding data not released, signature IB: 02290A \- DSC control unit: Coding data not released, signature HKFM: 020D0A \- HKFM: Coding data are not qualified
- [B120626](/bulletins/11034450.md), 2026-07-03, Service campaign: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. In these vehicles with an S68 engine, an incorrect diagnosis of the Valvetronic \(VVT\) may occur. Undercertain operating conditions, the software may detect a short\-circuit in the valve control system even thoughthere is no fault. When the above\-mentioned fault occurs, the red Check Control warning light ‘Drive system fault’ illuminates. This can result in the intake valves closing gradually, which may lead to misfires while the engine is running.
- [B120326](/bulletins/11034449.md), 2026-07-03, Warranty extension: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Due to an implementation error in various OBD diagnostics in the vehicle's control units, in very rare cases itmay happen that stored fault memory codes \(DTCs\) and the MIL \(warning light\) are not automaticallydeleted even though the underlying malfunction has already been rectified. This does not comply with the statutory OBD specifications.
- [B652025](/bulletins/11032744.md), 2026-05-18, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. After replacing the Multifunctional Display \(MFD\), the Central Information Display \(CID\) is black. The backlight of the CID is illuminated, and touch function does register an audible sound.
- [B610926](/bulletins/11032739.md), 2026-05-18, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. An error in the Battery Management Electronics \(SME\) can lead to an interruption in communication, which can lead to the high\-voltage system being turned off. The error is indicated by a Check Control message, and it is generally possible to continue driving until the vehicle is parked.
- [B610324](/bulletins/11031576.md), 2026-04-27, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Gen 5 BEV/PHEV vehicles may set the Combined Charging Unit \(CCU\) in programming abort due to no communication to the HV charge socket electronics.
- [B240126](/bulletins/11031572.md), 2026-04-27, Service bulletin: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. A possible “jerking” motion may arise when using the Parking Maneuver Assistant in purely electric mode in vehicles with 7 kW charging power and a programmed I\-level starting from 25\-03\-500
