Service bulletin B612225
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) may be triggered by the erroneous fault code: BA0023 - Control unit: internal fault (software group fault) In addition, the BA0008 - CCU, internal coolant temperature sensor: Signal implausible faults may be stored in the CCU memory. However, AC charging will still operate as designed, without any related drivability complaints. Affected PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) vehicles with CCU_P1 (7.4 kW and 11 kW) with I-levels from …24-07- 500 to …25-11-5xx.

| B611826 | 2026-09-28. Service bulletin. Due to unfavorable software, the Storage Management Electronics (SME) will not show fault codes that trigger the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) when performing ISTA Service Function "Display Permanent SAE Fault Codes." As a result, workshops will have to identify SME-specific permanent SAE (emission related) Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) stored in the vehicle during diagnosis or when preparing a vehicle for a State Emission Inspection and Maintenance through a workaround procedure. |

| B120626 | 2026-07-03. Service campaign. In these vehicles with an S68 engine, an incorrect diagnosis of the Valvetronic (VVT) may occur. Undercertain operating conditions, the software may detect a short-circuit in the valve control system even thoughthere is no fault. When the above-mentioned fault occurs, the red Check Control warning light ‘Drive system fault’ illuminates. This can result in the intake valves closing gradually, which may lead to misfires while the engine is running. |
| B120326 | 2026-07-03. Warranty extension. Due to an implementation error in various OBD diagnostics in the vehicle's control units, in very rare cases itmay happen that stored fault memory codes (DTCs) and the MIL (warning light) are not automaticallydeleted even though the underlying malfunction has already been rectified. This does not comply with the statutory OBD specifications. |
| B652025 | 2026-05-18. Service bulletin. After replacing the Multifunctional Display (MFD), the Central Information Display (CID) is black. The backlight of the CID is illuminated, and touch function does register an audible sound. |
| B610926 | 2026-05-18. Service bulletin. An error in the Battery Management Electronics (SME) can lead to an interruption in communication, which can lead to the high-voltage system being turned off. The error is indicated by a Check Control message, and it is generally possible to continue driving until the vehicle is parked. |
