# Service bulletin SSM 54468

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Some 2026 Transit vehicles equipped with power folding mirrors may exhibit mirror housing looseness and/or vibrate while driving. This may be due to the mirrors being manually folded in or out during transportation, going through a car wash or being bumped in a parking lot. Manual movement of the mirrors can disengage the mirror housing from the motor, resulting in excessive movement. Synchronization of the mirrors may be required to resolve the condition. The Power Mirrors Synchronization procedure has been added to the Workshop Manual, Section 501\-09 Rear View Mirrors \> General Procedures that is referenced in the Diagnosis and Testing section for this condition. Inform the customer that the Power Folding Mirrors Reset procedure is also available in the Exterior Mirrors section of the Owner's Manual.
