# Other CL \- 2025090004

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Mercedes\-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes\-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain subject vehicles, the engine control unit software does not correspond to current production specification. The affected vehicles could exhibit rough engine running and noticeable vehicle vibrations, and misfire during the catalytic heating phase, resulting in check engine Malfunction Indicator \(MIL\) Lamp to illuminate. Additionally, it is possible that on\-board diagnostics and/or exhaust gas emissions requirements may not be fulfilled. MBUSA will conduct an emission service campaign. An authorized Mercedes\-Benz dealer will update the engine control unit software on the affected vehicle.
