## NHTSA's summary

Some 2026 Transit vehicles may exhibit a "Rear Belt Monitor Fault Service Required" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) while in transport mode. The vehicles rear belt monitor system will operate as designed once transport mode is exited and the vehicle enters normal mode after a key cycle. This condition does not affect vehicle durability, and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this fault message at this time.
