Service bulletin 167-B2510-2

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

SB-25-001 Water Intrusion in the Transmission Harness. Under certain conditions, water may potentially enter the PTO (Power Take Off) connector and migrate through the harness down to the TCM (Transmission Control Module). This could result in corrosion within the harness in addition to corrosion of the TCM terminals. In the event the customer is reporting one or more of the following symptoms, this TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) will guide you through an inspection and repair process.
