## NHTSA's summary

he purpose of this communication is to inform Maserati dealers that, in certain vehicle functions deactivated at the next Key\-On after Key\-Off cycle, normal behavior may be misinterpreted as a fault. Beginning with BCM software release 19.2 \(March 2024\), the Load Shed Function was introduced. This system is not a malfunction but an intentional feature that manages the 12V battery State of Charge by temporarily disabling or limiting non\-essential functions. The goal is to reduce unnecessary discharge and preserve battery health. Examples include: • A/C system • Heated seats / heated steering wheel • Mirror and rear window defroster • Interior lights / ambient lights • Head\-up display • Easy entry/exit
