Before replacing the key fob battery, please follow the following steps: 1\- Check if there is a "FOB Low Battery" msg on the instrument cluster 2\- Check if there is a fob Low battery active DTC Fob battery 1 DTC B1A10\-00 or Fob battery 2 DTC B1A11\-00 3\- Check if the original battery is installed which Varta or Panasonic sized CR 2450 4\- Verify if the fob ID printed under the battery cover matches fob IDs stored in the RFHUB, use DID $A004 \- Engineering Development Data 1 \(FOB ID 1 \& 2\) to check the fob IDs in the RFHUB 5\- Check the voltage of the coin battery, replace the battery only if the voltage is 2.3V or below and report the voltage in the dealer narratives
