## NHTSA's summary

Technical Bulletin \- Bendix® ESM2™ \(Electric Screw Module 2\) Front Flange Kit Certain versions of the Bendix® ESM™ \(Electric Screw Module\) may exhibit slight oil leakage due to the shaft seal within the flange that connects the compressor and the motor. Visible traces of oil pooling may indicate the oil leakage is excessive \(see Figure 2 for reference\). While there is no immediate effect to the performance of the electric compressor, it is recommended to replace the shaft seal using the Front Flange Kit, Bendix Part Number K201920.
