Service bulletin 25-EV-003G TSB

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

24-01-070G2024-09-03. Service campaign. Certain GV60 (JW1 EV) vehicles may exhibit a condition where DTC P1AA900 becomes active after charging. The Battery Management System (BMS) software logic could cause an HV battery cell voltage to be misread under specific conditions resulting in a false-positive DTC P1AA900, MIL on, and 80% maximum HV battery charge limit. There is no other effect on the vehicle and all systems remain operational. Regardless of whether the vehicle has an active DTC P1AA900 or not, follow the procedure in this TSB to update the software for the Battery Management System (BMS).
