Service bulletin TSB 25-2267
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TSB 25-2572 | 2025-12-01. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 25-2322 to update the Service Procedure, Labor Operations and Parts List. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit an upper engine ticking or tapping noise at idle. Customers may also report experiencing rough engine performance, engine misfire, or a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0301-P0308 in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to camshaft and/or valve tappet having excess wear within the engine assembly. |

| SSM 54363 | 2025-11-13. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2025 Expedition/Navigator/F-150/F-Super Duty/F-53 Motorhome/F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis/F-650/F-750/Transit vehicles equipped with a 2.7L/3.5L (non hybrid)/6.8L/7.3L engine and 2021-2026 E-Series may exhibit a rattle/scraping noise from the bellhousing area on start-up. Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-00 Engine System - General Information > Diagnosis and Testing and 303-06 > Starting System has been updated to address this condition. Additionally, WSM, Section 303-01 > Removal and Installation > Engine to Transmission Spacer Plate has been added to address this condition. Refer to the revised WSM sections for normal diagnosis. |
| SSM 54338 | 2025-11-04. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2025 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 5.0L/5.2L engine, 2021-2025 F-Super Duty/F-53 Motorhome/F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis vehicles equipped with a 6.8L/7.3L engine and 2021-2026 E-Series/F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 7.3L engine may exhibit a rattle/scraping noise upon startup that may remain after the engine is running. This may be due to the starter motor drive gear not retracting after starting. To correct this condition, inspect the starter motor drive gear and shaft. If the starter motor drive gear slides back and forth by hand and/or shows signs of scoring or damage, replace the starter motor following Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-06 Starting System > Removal and Installation > Starter. |
| TSB 25-2382 | 2025-08-26. Service bulletin. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit an incorrectly illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0420 and/or P0430 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to the software in the PCM. |
| TSB 25-2322 | 2025-07-24. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 25-2200 to update the parts list to add the new camshaft and tappet service kit and add F-650/F-750. |
| TSB 24-2249 | 2024-09-02. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 22-2087 to update the Part List. Some 2020-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission may exhibit harsh reverse to drive engagements without diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). This may be due to sticking valves in the main control valve body or suspect input shaft seals (F9) and the output shaft seals (F10). To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to perform the transmission accelerated main control break-in routine for the E and F clutches and if necessary, replace the input shaft seals (F9) and the output shaft seals (F10). |
| TSB 24-2142 | 2024-06-12. Service bulletin. This article supersedes TSB 23-2376 to update the Part List and the Service Procedure. Some 2022-2024 F-550 and F-600 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission and 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2704 and P0771 stored in the transmission control module (TCM) with poor shift quality and over 5,000 miles (8,000 km) in service. This may be due to wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing the input shaft O-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the E clutch hub and input shaft O-rings. |
| SSM 52595 | 2024-06-10. Service bulletin. When replacing the E clutch hub (7P211) on 2020-2024 F-Super Duty and 2024-2025 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 10R140 transmission, a new washer (7482) has been added and must be installed with the new updated E clutch hub. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01B for proper installation of the washer. Refer to the parts catalog for the appropriate part numbers for the E clutch hub and the washer. |
| SSM 52548 | 2024-05-23. Service bulletin. Various vehicles equiped with 10R80/10R80 MHT/10R100/10R140 transmissions may require replacement of the seal kits (7153) when internal repairs are being performed. These kits come with 4 wheel drive (4WD) seals and will no longer include the 2WD seals. When working on a 2WD vehicle, any 2WD seals must be ordered separately. Refer to the parts catalog for the proper 2WD seals required. |
| SSM 52389 | 2024-04-04. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with only diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3012 stored in the PCM. If no drivability concerns or other DTCs are present, perform normal diagnostics per the Workshop Manual (WSM). If diagnostics lead to the powertrain control module (PCM) or body control module (BCM), the replacement of the PCM and/or the BCM will not resolve this concern. This illuminated MIL with DTC U3012 does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. |
