# Service bulletin TSB 25\-2262

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

This article supersedes TSB 23\-2076 to update the powertrain control module \(PCM\) software level addressing the condition. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with cylinder injection pulse offset diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) P2B11, P2B13, P2B15, P2B17, P2B19, P2B1B, P2B1D, and/or P2B1F stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). The vehicle may also exhibit a slight running rough condition at idle. This may be due to incorrect learned values in the PCM from operating the vehicle at altitudes greater than 2500 feet \(762 meters\) above sea level. This condition does not affect vehicle drivability or durability.

- [TSB 26\-2375 v2](/bulletins/11038441.md), 2026-10-13, Service bulletin: UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN. NOTE: This bulletin has been updated, refer to the change log at the bottom for details. Issue: Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit all of the following conditions: • Poor shift quality • Illuminated powertrain malfunction \(wrench\) indicator with DTCs P2704 and P0771 stored in the PCM / TCM . This may be due to a calibration in the TCM and/or wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing theinput shaft O\-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. Action: For vehicles that meet all of the criteria in the Issue and Model statements, follow the Service Procedure toreprogram the PCM / TCM and/or replace the E clutch hub and input shaft O\-rings
- [SSM 55218](/bulletins/11038166.md), 2026-10-06, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. For 20202026 vehicles equipped with the 10R140 transmission, a new Transmission Clutch Circuit Leak Test has been introduced in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\). This test utilizes the pressure and vacuum transducer \(PVT\) when available. Workshop Manual \(WSM\) updates related to this diagnostic procedure are planned for release in Q4 2026. The new test improves the accuracy of detecting leaks within transmission fluid circuits and replaces the previous air check method. The previous air check procedure has been shown to produce a high rate of false positives, which may lead to unnecessary repairs when no actual leak is present. Accordingly, the air check procedure is not to be used for diagnosing internal transmission hydraulic leaks or as justification for transmission replacement.
- [TSB 26\-2088 v2](/bulletins/11037979.md), 2026-10-05, Service bulletin: UNKNOWN OR OTHER; POWER TRAIN. This bulletin supersedes 24\-2249. Reason for update: update the claim quantity of the torque converter nuts, part number and claim quantity of the front support assembly bolt washers, and part number change of the fluid pan from the Parts List. Some 2021\-2026 Ford/Lincoln vehicles may exhibit various symptoms including but not limited to the auto start/stop system not operating as intended with a "Check Charging System" message in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) while the charging system is operating properly with no charging related diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) stored. This may be due to someone using an aftermarket programmer to change the body control module \(BCM\) configuration to disable the auto start/stop system or perform other unsupported programming modifications. To correct this condition on F\-150 and Bronco vehicles, download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System \(FDRS\) application titled "BCM\-Charging System Configuration Correction". Running this application will determine if the BCM configuration was modified by the customer and if so, provide the option to return the configuration back to factory settings. For other vehicle models exhibiting concerns related to unsupported aftermarket BCM programming, submit a Technical Support Request \(TSR\) requesting support to revert the BCM configuration
- [TSB 26\-2216](/bulletins/11032694.md), 2026-05-14, Service bulletin: POWER TRAIN. This bulletin supersedes 25\-2549. Reason for update: To add 2020 model year chassis cab vehicles. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit an incorrectly illuminated malfunction indicator lamp \(MIL\) with diagnostic trouble codes \(DTC\) P0420 and/or P0430 stored in the powertrain control module \(PCM\). This may be due to the software in the PCM. This condition does not affect vehicle drivability or durability.
