# Service bulletin TSB220262

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

This Technical Service Bulletin highlights the possibility for metal debris to be present in the dirty \(inlet\) side of any fuel filter, and cautions that the presence of debris in the dirty \(inlet\) side of the fuel filter is not effective in identifying a fuel system malfunction. This is an update to a previously submitted communication.
