## NHTSA's summary

This ATC is being issued to address interference between rocker lever cover and injectors due to residual material on certain X12 certified engines. The residual material on rocker lever cover may lead to progressive damage to injectors or injector harnesses that can cause fault codes and low engine performance. This ATC enables authorized repair locations to remove residual material, commonly known as nubs, from the rocker lever cover that may resolve the condition described above. This is an update to a previously submitted communication.
