## NHTSA's summary

Some 2025 Aviator vehicles built on or before 17\-Feb\-2025 may exhibit a harsh suspension feel and Drive Control Fault Service Required message in the instrument panel cluster \(IPC\) message center with no applicable diagnostic trouble codes \(DTCs\) present in the vehicle dynamics control module \(VDM\). This may be due to the software in the VDM. To correct this condition, update the VDM software to the latest level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair Tool \(FDRS\) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18B008 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards \(SLTS\) Manual.
