## NHTSA's summary

Mercedes\-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes\-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain subject vehicles, the SCN coding of the electronic ignition control unit does not correspond to the latest production specifications. As a result, a red battery warning message could inadvertently display on the instrument cluster. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes\-Benz dealer will perform an SCN coding of the electronic ignition control unit.
