## NHTSA's summary

Mercedes\-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes\-Benz, has determined that on certain MY 2019 A\-Class \(177 platform\) vehicles, the engine control unit software may not correspond to the current specifications, causing the on\-board diagnosis to incorrectly detect a fault in the lambda sensor that may result in the illumination of check engine malfunction indicator lamp \(‘MIL’\). MBUSA will conduct an Emission Service Campaign. An authorized Mercedes\-Benz dealer will update the engine control unit software.
