Service bulletin L-SB-0017-25
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Some 2022 – 2024 model year NX 250 and NX 350, and 2023 – 2024 model year RX 350 vehicles may exhibit both of the following conditions at vehicle startup: •A “Shift System Malfunction” message on the Multi-information Display (MID), as shown below. •Battery voltage drops below 10V. These conditions are more likely to occur when the outside temperatures are near freezing. The Engine Control Module (ECM) (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM) logic has been modified to reduce the possibility of these conditions.

| L-SB-0033-24 Rev2 | 2026-07-08. Service bulletin. Some 2023 – 2024 model year RX 350, RX 350h, RX 500h, and 2024 model year TX 350 and TX 500h vehicles may exhibit a rotational clicking noise from one or both front drive shaft assemblies when accelerating while making turns. This condition may occur without a grease leak present on the front drive shaft assemblies. An updated front drive shaft assembly is available to resolve this condition. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition. |
