# Warranty extension 25\-FL\-002H OL

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Certain 2019 \- 2022 model year Veloster N, 2022 \- 2023 model year Elantra N, and 2022 \- 2023 model year Kona N vehicles may have a Fuel Control Valve \(FCV\) in the High\-Pressure Fuel Pump \(HPFP\) assemblies that could allow excess fuel to enter the fuel pump. This condition may result in a reduction or loss of motive power at low speeds. The vehicle will also have Diagnostic Trouble Code \(DTC\) P0088. The warranty coverage for the High\-Pressure Fuel Pump \(HPFP\) has been extended to 15 years or 150,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use and is valid for original and subsequent owners.

## Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component

- [25\-FL\-003H](/bulletins/11018892.md), 2025-06-03, Service bulletin: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Certain Elantra \(CN7\), Elantra N \(CN7 N\), Elantra \(CN7A\) vehicles may experience a thudding noise coming from the fuel tank assembly at idle or on an incline when the PCSV \(Purge Control Solenoid Valve\) is operating, and fuel level is above 90% full. If the noise is heard, follow the service procedure to replace the fuel tank assembly and resolve the concern.
- [25\-FL\-002H TSB](/bulletins/11014135.md), 2025-02-11, Warranty extension: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Certain 2019\-2022MY Veloster N \(JSN\), 2022\-2023MY Elantra N \(CN7N\), and 2022\-2023MY Kona N \(OSN\) vehicles are equipped with high pressure fuel pump \(HPFP\) assemblies that have fuel control valves \(FCV\) that could allow excess fuel to enter the fuel pump due to gradual wear of the FCV plunger. An air/fuel mixture that runs too “rich” may result in a reduction or loss of motive power at low speeds. The vehicle will also have Diagnostic Trouble Code \(DTC\) P0088. Hyundai is extending warranty coverage for the HPFP under this condition to 15 years or 150,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use \(whichever occurs first\) and is valid for original and subsequent owners.
