# Over\-the\-air update N24\-245213

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

## NHTSA's summary

Certain 2023\-2024 model year Chevrolet Colorado / Silverado 1500 and GMC Canyon / Sierra 1500 vehicles equipped with a 2.7L engine \(RPO L3B\), may have an Engine Control Module \(ECM\) that does not sufficiently control fuel injector flow rate under certain driving conditions. This update will complete the remedy for GM Recall No. N242452130 and no additional steps are needed after a successful update. You will also receive a letter providing additional details regarding this issue. During the update process, your radio may stay on up to 5 minutes after you exit the vehicle. This is expected behavior when an update package is onboard the vehicle. Do not service your vehicle during installation.
