Service campaign N232421261
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary
Certain 2020 – 2022 model year Chevrolet Bolt EV and 2022 model year Chevrolet Bolt EUV vehicles may have a condition in which a false diagnostic trouble code (DTC), U3636 symptom 09, is triggered. This false DTC is resulting in customers experiencing a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated in the Driver Information Center (DIC), a Reduced Propulsion message, and a charging limited to 30% State of Charge. Since this is a false DTC, it can lead to unnecessary battery pack replacements. Dealers are to reprogram the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module 2 and provide the customer with a free NACS Adapter.
